Performed simulations and analytical modeling on three antenna types:
- a half-wave dipole
- a 110 cm single loop
- the dual parallel loop (my design)
The results show that:
- the Dual Loop has 3× the radiation resistance of a single loop
- efficiency reaches ≈85%
- gain at 14 MHz is +0.8 to +1.0 dBi (vs. 0 dBi for the single loop)
- performance approaches the dipole, which reaches about +2 dBi
A remarkable outcome, especially given how compact the loop is.
